Ronald E. Simmons
Chairman

Ron has been in the investment industry for over 25 years, and has worked with retiring crewmember families since 1987. He is the co-founder and Chairman of Retirement Advisors of America, A PHH Investments Company. Ron is a national speaker on Leadership and Entrepreneurship and is very involved with the charitable organization Equip. He is a graduate of Dallas Baptist University with a Bachelors degree in Business. Ron has recently joined the national Board of Directors of the Autism Society of America.


John B. (Bart) Roberson
President and Chief Executive Officer

Bart has been in the investment industry for over 25 years.  Bart served as Vice President, Director of Sales for American Beacon Advisors and the American Beacon Funds until 2006.  His responsibilities included new business development and client services.  Bart joined American Beacon Advisors from Henry S. Miller’s Real Estate Securities Corporation in August 1988. He started his career with the accounting firm of Touche Ross & Co. in Dallas after receiving a BBA in Accounting and Finance from Baylor University.


John Bentley
Executive Vice President

John is a 20 year veteran in the venture capital / private equity industry.  In 1995 he founded Cornerstone Equity Partners and in 2000 co-founded Grayhawk Capital,  both private equity management firms.  Together they managed venture capital funds and a buy-out fund with approximately $150 million under management.  Prior to Cornerstone, he was a partner with Banc One Capital Partners managing private equity / mezzanine investments. Prior to Banc One Capital, he served as CFO of R.J. Moran, Inc., a diversified holding company that owned and operated radio stations, real estate, and oil and gas production, and began his career with Arthur Andersen & Co.

John obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration from Baylor University. He is a member of the board of the Baylor Foundation and has served on the boards of over 20 privately held companies and one public company, New Century Financial Corporation.

 


William F. (Bill) Hubble, CFA
Co-Chief Investment Officer

Bill has been in the securities and investment management business since January 1977, when he started working for the Wall Street firm of Blyth Eastman & Dillon. In 1979, he began working with American Airlines pilots helping them manage their retirement fund assets. In 1986, he joined Balanced Financial Asset Management Corporation as its President, and left in 1988 to start LAMP Advisors, Inc., a firm that worked with retiring commercial airline pilots in managing their retirement assets. In 1994, LAMP Advisors, Inc. merged with Pritchard, Herr and Associates to form Pritchard, Hubble and Herr, Inc. Bill is a Chartered Financial Analyst and has a MBA degree in Finance. He is a member of the CFA Institute, the parent organization for financial analysts.

Tony DeSantis
Principal
Tony received his B.S. from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 1970, as the Outstanding Graduate in Aerodynamics. In 1977, he received his MBA in Finance from the Columbia Graduate School of Business on a Samuel Bronfman Fellowship. He served five years as a pilot in the USAF before joining American Airlines in 1976 and retired in 2005 while based in Miami. Tony served as chairman of the Los Angeles domicile APA Pension Committee from1984 to 1989 where he assisted pilots preparing for retirement, conducted retirement briefings, and wrote articles for local and national APA publications. Tony also developed computer software designed to project future retirement benefits, including lump sum and annuity options, early retirement benefits, 401K amounts, disability, and survivor death benefits. These projections have assisted hundreds of retiring pilots and have now become an integral part of the Final Approach Program® that he developed for PHH.

Tony joined the firm in November 1990 as the West Coast Marketing Representative. He has served as the West Coast Regional Advisor, Director of Airline Programs, and Executive Vice President. Tony currently serves on the Retirement Advisors Board of Directors.

Kevin Dolan
Principal
Kevin received his BA in Economics from Denison University in Granville, Ohio in 1973. After getting his wings in the Air Force and flying the C-141, Kevin went on to the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned his MBA in 1981, while flying for American Airlines. At Wharton he earned the highest possible grade of "Distinguished" for his thesis on personal finance emphasizing cash flow management. Kevin is also a Certified Financial Planner.

Kevin has made several contributions to the Allied Pilot’s Association, including serving as chair for the first Strategic Planning committee at a domicile (ORD) for one year. Then in 1993, the APA asked Kevin to join the committee responsible for analyzing the feasibility of creating a credit union for the APA membership. He chaired the business planning committee and was on the Board of Directors from its inception in January of 1994, until April of 2000.

Kevin was recruited for PHH by Bill Hubble after being introduced by Tony DeSantis. At PHH Kevin has been a marketing rep, East Coast director, Director of Strategic Planning, and CFO. Kevin currently serves on the Retirement Advisors Board of Directors as well as in his marketing capacity.
